Extreme Media Print invests in MGI JETVARNISH 3DS from Konica Minolta

Summary

Extreme Media Print has become the latest print provider in Romania to invest in MGI digital technology from Konica Minolta as a wave of investments in JETVARNISH 3DS machines sweeps the country.

Backed by Konica Minolta’s world-class support and service, eight systems have been sold across Romania in just over two years. An increasing number of companies is recognizing the value of using embellishment to provide value-added printing in all kinds of applications including books, photo-books and magazine printing.

Bucharest-based Extreme Media Print, a new customer of Konica Minolta, provides complete production services with offset and digital printing, and now more added-value services, thanks to the MGI spot varnish and foil technology. The JETVARNISH 3DS and iFOIL-S help printers to expand their services to include new high-margin spot UV, 3D tactile varnishing and foil capabilities, as well as 3D embossed jobs.

“This investment is an important step as we continue to grow our business with digital technology. We see huge opportunities ahead with our new jet-varnishing and foil capabilities, particularly in the areas of book production, magazine production and other different kind of applications. We have really appreciated the support from Konica Minolta, both locally and internationally. It has been a real partnership approach. The know-how and hands-on training at Digital Imaging Square in Konica Minolta’s European headquarters in Langenhagen, Germany, provided a solid base for our new business development.”
Ioan Gingasu, General Manager of Extreme Media Print

Since the end of 2016, the Konica Minolta sales teams have sold eight MGI JETVARNISH 3DS systems to a variety of print providers in Romania, including some established brands, as well as an MGI Meteor digital press.

“We evaluated the client’s needs, and proposed JETVARNISH 3DS, the most innovative embellishment solution. Our technology increases the superior quality of the prints, needed for creating customized applications, books and magazines covers, flyers, business cards and other complex products that Extreme Media Print wishes to offer to its clients. Our account teams have real focus on this embellishment solution. They not only provide real insight and expertise to help businesses grow profitably, but also provide practical support and support as part of our customer-centric approach. Forward-thinking companies such as Extreme Media Print know that by investing in MGI technology they can turn printed jobs into remarkable and appealing print products that will immediately catch the attention of the end customer.”
