Sidekix chooses Konica Minolta to further professionalise personalised campaigns

Summary

Sidekix, a specialist in the execution of marketing campaigns, has become the first Dutch marketing fulfilment company to invest in Konica Minolta's AccurioJet KM-1. With this B2+ UV inkjet printer, the company can produce personalised products faster and work with a wider range of materials.

Sidekix has grown tremendously in recent years - from 10 to 80 employees - and needed more production capacity. As the marketing specialist has been working with Konica Minolta for over ten years, the choice of an IT service provider and production printer supplier was easily made.

The Konica Minolta AccurioJet KM-1 B2+ UV digital press is referred to as "the Swiss army knife” of the printing industry, because it has so many uses. It offers Sidekix several new possibilities, such as higher volume and printing on various types of paper, cardboard, plastics and canvas, enabling Sidekix to offer its customers more diversity in the future. In this way, the company expects to expand its offerings in packaging in the future.

We have been working with Konica Minolta for over ten years, a company that has always delivered the quality it promises. With customers who want to send many personalised mailings, the AccurioJet KM-1 offers the solution. We are currently the only mailing company in the Netherlands that works with this fast machine and that is a big advantage over the competition.
Tjeerd Nijenhuis, co-owner of Sidekix
In recent years, Sidekix has continued to expand in order to best serve its customers. The AccurioJet KM-1 is a fully digital inkjet printer, so there are no start-up costs. Since Sidekix often has to handle large volumes - think of personalised letters with different initials and codes - this machine is the ideal choice.
Bas Smeets, Senior Account Manager at Konica Minolta Business Solutions

In the future, Sidekix wants to attract a large number of brands with consumer relations in the Netherlands. Nijenhuis concludes: "We already work a lot with large organisations in the field of personalised mailings and we want to expand this by offering personalised packaging. With the KM-1 we are sure that we can handle the volume for the new markets we want to serve in the coming years."
